The D-60 C covers frequencies from 22 kHz down to 80 Hz (-3dB) and is intended to be used with additional woofers for the LFE and bass, for example the Lyngdorf BW-20 or DW-1. To achieve the ideal sound radiation from a center speaker and the best overall sound performance, the D-60 C is designed with a dedicated midrange driver just below the tweeter and two additional woofers. While thecrossover filter between tweeter and upper midrange driver is inside the speaker (passive filter), the crossover between the midrange and the two woofers is in the digital domain (active filter) inside the processor.
