A reinforced dual-magnet drive provides even better dynamics and control of the vibration system based on a lightweight, coated cellulose diaphragm and a 1-inch coil wound with aluminum copper wire. In addition, the speaker is made using Spider Ring technology, designed to enhance control over the manufacturing process of high-end products. The tweeter from Danish Scan-Speak has also been updated with a more powerful neodymium magnet system, reduced voice coil mass, and eliminated ferrofluid. It delivers even better detail and microdynamics at the highest frequencies, with greater efficiency and control. Also new is the dual resonance chamber design, which further reduces the primary resonance of the tweeter.
