Our Headphone Bar Upgrade

There are some things you simply can't judge from a spec sheet, and headphones sit right at the top of that list. It’s not just the way a particular pairing handles your favourite recordings, but also weight, fit and clamp force to consider, it is a very personal choice that you have to sit down, touch feel and listen to understand. That's exactly why we've rebuilt and expanded our headphone bar for more space and comfort while you test out our selection of some of the finest headphones available today.

A Proper Place to Listen

The centrepiece is a much bigger desk, hand-finished with an oiled oak and protected by a glass top, at 95cm deep and 3m long there is plenty of room to test out multiple headphones, amps, and DACs. Settle in, coffee in hand, and take your time, we're here to help when needed, otherwise happy to leave you with the music.

The Line-Up

• Abyss – Made in USA - planar magnetic flagships with breathtaking resolution and scale. The Abyss AB-1266 Phi TC are widely regarded as one of the finest headphones ever made.

• Focal - French engineering at its finest, offering everything from entry level convenience to their flagship Utopia headphones.

• Sennheiser - Over 75 years of headphone heritage. We keep their two flagship models the 800s (open back) and HD820 (closed back) on demo.

• Bowers & Wilkins - British engineering, comfortable and stylish, offering a range which is suitable for both the home and on the go.

We're also auditioning new headphones, hunting for the ones that genuinely add something to our current line-up. To complement all this, we stock a wide range of DACs and headphone amps to help complete your system.
