    Mistral is only available by the meter. For best results, use AudioQuest Mistral high performance power plugs with Hanging Silver plating on Red Copper or Beryllium Copper (available in Schuko, UK, C13 or C19 versions).

    CONDUCTOR MADE OF HIGH PURITY TRUE-CONCENTRIC PSC+ & LGC
    Although their conductor core is made of Long-Grain Copper (LGC), Monsoon's conductors are essentially PSC+ conductors because they only have Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) as their outer layer. Both the high-quality metal and conductor geometry reduce transient intermodulation distortion (TIM), which often causes listening fatigue.
    GROUND NOISE DISSIPATION TECHNOLOGY
    Ground conductors on power cords provide protection from the deficiencies of power wiring, but they also function as antennas. Therefore, they are subject to the influence of high frequency noise (HF). This RF noise bypasses the component power supplies and is typically routed directly to a system's most sensitive AV circuitry. AudioQuest's patented Ground-Noise Dissipation greatly reduces distortion and delivers unprecedented levels of noise dissipation over the widest possible high frequency bandwidth. Our unique circuit topology utilizes a common mode phase cancellation arrangement coupled with proprietary dielectric materials to provide additional linear differential filtering. (US Patent No. 9,373,439)
    DIRECTIONALITY
    All drawn metal strands and conductors have an asymmetrical and therefore directional grain structure. The resulting changing RF impedances are controlled by AudioQuest to direct the noise away from where it would cause distortion. Correct running direction is determined by hearing testing each batch of metal conductors in each AudioQuest audio cable. Where direction plays a role, the connectors are clearly marked with appropriate arrows to ensure superior sound quality. On most AQ cable models, the arrows not only indicate the direction in which the metal running direction is optimally used for noise dissipation, but also refers to the asymmetrical arrangement of shielding and GND,
