The OM 44 S Speaker Stands have been designed especially for the Spendor Classic speaker range with a quadrifid design available as standard 410mm high plus the base isolation spike at 25mm and manufactured with ERW 50.8mm x 50.8mm mild steel supports.
The OM 44 S speaker stand design includes 4mm Inert Acoustic steel isolation top plate and a 6mm CR4 steel base plate, when combined with zinc plated, allen key adjustable M8 base isolation spikes and M8 fixing bolts provide  total joint rigidity. The hand finished, polished acoustic steel isolation plates connect to ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel 50.8 x 50.8mm tubes, as standard for sound quality and as part of the Custom Design attention to detail philosophy.

Custom Design  manufacture the exclusive, world renowned, Inert, Acoustic Steel and Acoustic Aluminium products for total hifi isolation stands. The OM 44 S Speaker Support Stand Range are manufacture by the craftsman at Custom Design, creating a totally isolated, rigid speaker stand support with a medium, initial Mass, although this has been reduced by laser cutting the centre section of the acoustic steel top isolation plate and the CR4 6mm base plate

Please remember before Mass loading the speaker stand steel support columns with Inert Filler, we suggested you listen to your music and system first and if the bass frequency requires a little more control then add Inert Filler, which greatly increases the final mass of the speaker stand, which in turn could effect the bass frequency more depending upon the speakers design and manufacturer. Inert Filler 1.7kg per bag and 13.5kg per box

When combined with Inert Acoustic steel Isolation Top plates and CR4 Steel Base plates the reduction in resonance noise vibration is significant, resulting in an improved performance and sound quality.
