With the Pink Faun Scion we introduce a refined music server/streamer to our product family, delivering Pink Faun’s renowned musical performance in a more compact and accessible form. Innovative Power Supply Design
At the core of the Scion’s performance is its advanced power supply system, a hallmark of Pink Faun’s engineering philosophy. Instead of adapting technology from our flagship 2.16 Ultra music server/streamer, we developed an entirely new power supply specifically for the Scion. This ensures optimal synergy between the power delivery and the unit’s internal components.

To further enhance its performance, the Scion is equipped with a secondary, high-transient, low-noise supercapacitor-based power supply. This dual-regulated supply powers the two digital outputs independently, ensuring the cleanest and most stable signals to your DAC. Every detail in the design has been considered to maintain fidelity and preserve the musicality that Pink Faun products are known for.

Tailored Software for Precision and Simplicity
The Scion is powered by Pink Faun OS, our proprietary operating system, developed and written in-house to provide an optimized, seamless listening experience. The decision to build Pink Faun OS from the ground up stems from our commitment to ensuring the software matches the technical sophistication of the hardware. Tailored specifically for the Scion, the software enhances usability, reliability, and musical performance.

With Pink Faun OS, the Scion offers the perfect platform for Roon*. With its streamlined interface and responsive operation, Roon enables effortless control of your digital library while the Scion maintains the pristine sound quality demanded by discerning audiophiles.

Comprehensive Digital Connectivity
The Pink Faun Scion features a range of digital outputs, all meticulously engineered to meet the highest standards of performance. Each output operates on its own dedicated power rail from the low-noise supercapacitor power supply.

USB Output: Powered by the AS-media ASM3142 chipset, the USB output incorporates upgraded clock circuitry, low-noise regulators, and a high-retention USB connector for a secure and reliable connection to your DAC.

SPDIF Output: Includes both a coaxial RCA connection and an AES/EBU output, with dedicated clock circuitry and low-noise regulation to ensure a clean and stable digital audio stream, free from jitter and interference.

These versatile options provide flexibility in pairing the Scion with a wide range of DA-converters.
