Grado Headphones & Phono Cartridges | Nintronics

Grado Labs has been hand-building headphones and phono cartridges in the same Brooklyn building since 1953, and still makes the open-back, on-ear design most of the industry abandoned long ago. The result is a sound that's open, fast and immediate — guitars, vocals and drums with real bite.

The 2026 range is split into three families: the Classic Series (SR60 through to GS3000, all on the new X2 driver platform), the Signature Line (detachable cables, larger drivers, premium hardwood housings) and the Wireless Series, led by the GW100x. Grado's moving-iron phono cartridges — Prestige, Timbre, Lineage and the flagship Epoch — are among the most respected available.

Grado rewards a listen more than most. Visit the showroom in Welwyn Garden City to compare models across the range.
