Description
The StormAudio HDMI 7+2 eARC is a 7 input / 2 output card which promises improved switching time and compatibility with all HDMI connectable devices. Key features include full 4k, 18 Gigabytes per second bandwidth on all input and output ports, plus DolbyVision and HDR10 support.
As the name suggests, there’s also integrated eARC, which can be used to pass lossless multichannel audio.
“The new card is the result of a collaborative effort between our product development team in France and a specialized circuit board manufacturer partner,” explains StormAudio US Sales Manager Gary Blouse. “This was critical for us to undertake as flawless HDMI performance is critical. Yet we see that mediocre HDMI performance has been the bane of our competition.”
Positioned at the premium end of the home theatre market, StormAudio offers 16, 20 and 32-channel digital immersive audio preamplifier processors, and 8- and 16-channel power amplifiers. All processors feature Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D decoding and have Dirac Live Room Calibration as well as the StormMonitoring remote web-based monitoring tool.
